About The Three Gorges Restaurant
The Three Gorges Oriental Restaurant, which opened in Tuam in 2006, is owned and managed by Kee Chen and Cindy Yan. Kee and Cindy live in Tuam with their two children Aoife and Daithi.
Kee has extensive experience in all aspects of the restaurant business including cooking, customer service and management. Cindy has a masters degree in Chinese Literature and has lectured at University in China. Our team are vastly experienced, with chefs having over 15 years experience internationally in the hotel and restaurant business. Our front of house staff pride themselves on providing excellent customer service.
All our meat is 100% Irish, vegetables and potatoes are sourced locally with home made desserts from the Cake Box in Tuam. To provide top quality Oriental cuisine for the health conscious diner, some key food ingredients such as Tofu, Mangetout, Courgette and Chinese Leaves are imported from Asia. All ice cream is purchased from Movenpick. The Three Gorges is the perfect location for family outings, including birthday celebrations, communion, confirmation, or just a friendly get together. For business meetings or corporate nights out, Kee and his team will look after your every requirement.
